If you have a tools, jack stands and a place it doesn't take long at all if you decide you want to diy it.
I need a new clutch on my 1990 miata and I've been quoted from 700-900 at local transmission shops. I personally think that's too much. Anyone know of any good shops or people that could do it.

Miata Solutions or Track Dog would be your two best sources for Miata Service!

+1 on MiataSolutions or Trackdog, which ever is closer. Stevan (MiataSolutions) did my '94.

Wish I had tools :/I know Stevan he did my 1.8 swap he's a very very busy guy, but guess I'll have to jump on the waiting list.
$700-$900 is not outrageous if you consider the amount of labor involved. It takes about 9 hours for one person. That includes replacing the rear-main seal, trans seals and power washing the transmission. We could probably squeeze you in if you want Track Dog to do it.
