Default Help with broken spark plug

Well its been a few months since ive been on here, hope everyones doing well.

So heres my problem. The last couple of months ive been getting my 95 1.8 ready for the summer. I had full intentions of running as many ER and BMW events as i could this year but the gov ferlough has put that on hold, along with the small things i needed to change on the miata, such as the valve cover gasket, plugs and wires. As the title says, i had a plug brake on me a little while ago. In the past ive had plugs brake on the side of engines that were relatively simple to take out. This plug though, broke at the threds even with head, and since it is not easy to get to ive kind of just had it..

What are your guys suggestions on this matter. If someone here has experience with this, i would def pay depending on the extent of work required for the removal. my worst fear is the thought haveing to remove the head since i wont have time or money seeing as i had to get a part time job to help save up some more cash for when the furlough comes around.

I appreciate all the info/help i can get.. lets hear it..

I'm guessing that the extraction process might result in some debris falling into the cylinder. If you're successful in getting the broken piece out, you might want to try and vacuum out the cylinder as best you can before firing up the motor.

thanks for the suggestion shortshift :)

Unfortunatly the extraction did not go well.. the tool broke off lol. was so down by the insident i even considered selling the whole car lol. that thought changed into ...... aquire new head, gasket match at minimum and them swap it out..

    So....

Does anyone have a head sitting around??!!

Get POS' head and let John Day have his way with it. you'll be happy with it after that. (just saw the FW local, so make a day of it and visit track dog too)

John Day is out of the engine rebuilding business sadly. Day Engineering is still around and recently moved.

The EZ-out broke? How much torque was on the plug?
    M3 is always the answer.
