Jack Junkies: tire machine, April 9 or 10

I have an excuse to go play with the tire machine at Jack Junkies but I won't need it for more than 20-30 minutes. Anyone wanna go in on an hour with me? Tentatively planning on Tuesday around 7pm, but could make it Wednesday if that works better for an interested party.

Any chance you can push it out a few days? I have a set of Rivals on order from Tire Rack. The original delivery ETA is 4/12, the website currently shows availability on 4/8. I'll call tomorrow and see if they can give me a firm delivery date.

Yes, they have a nice balancing machine.

They close at 8, so better plan to start this earlier if more than 2 people are coming. The tire machine rental is not time-based, so thats a good thing.

I can't get there before 6:45 or so, but if y'all want to get a head start then name your time. I'm leaning towards Tuesday. (Sorry, Chris -- my project has a bit of a deadline.)

I'll help instruct on the machine. Its got the extra arm, so its pretty easy to get right.

They might have changed the rental rate on it, but either way its cheap. I'm guessing $10/head ought to cover it.

I think it rents like the bays now, around $20/hour, though they seem to be flexible on the exact amount of time. Last I heard, it was only $10 if you were also renting a bay, so the way to do it would be to combine a tire day with a tech day or Wed night GTG. Even at $20, its a bargain. We did 6 wheels last night in an hour (swap tires and balance)
