Texas State Rep proposes bill that would implant RFIDs in Texas Vehicle Registration stickers.
That's all we need is another way for the eternally benevolent guvmint to track our whereabouts, and potentially issue speeding tickets based on time/distance calculations.

Somehow I'm much less concerned about that than the personally identifying information that will be contained in said tags that any criminally minded sort worth his salt can use to find out who you are without need for accessing an access controlled database... And no one would ever know that your information had been "read."
