FS 2002 Miata

Posting for a neighbor.

2002 White with tan leather interior and tan top. Six speed manual transmission. Power windows/locks/steering, cruise control. A/C works great. Leather interior with expected wear on driver seat bolster and seat bottom. Paint on nose has stone chips. Glass rear window and no leak top (top is not latched in photo is reason for wrinkles).

158,000 miles.

Salvage title from 2007. Adult female owner bought the car as a rebuilt total from Bob Stretch (former Spec Miata guy, owner of Wheels America, now running Trans Am 2 cars and winning Championships). For a time, Bob and his full time race mechanic Chris were buying wrecks and fixing and selling them.

My neighbor bought this car with 60,000 miles in Nov 2007 and used as a daily driver up till last fall. She put 98,000 miles on it with no funny tire wear and no alignment problems, just a normal reliable Miata daily driver.

Don’t know what the cause of the original total was, or how extensive the damage. But a no issue car now.

Timing belt/water pump/seals last done at 60,000 miles so needs that service. Normal non-performance maintenance items since (have receipts): shocks, fuel pump, AC service, radiator hoses/coolant, cooling fan motor. Falken tires have about half their life.

Title in hand. Current tag and inspection.

Asking $4500 cash. Car located outside Granbury but willing to meet closer to DFW for a serious buyer.
