I use a toilet brush to clean the condenser or radiator fins. Cheap and easy.
FWIW - We have found over the years that our grill has helped keep the bigger bugs and vermin from loading up the condenser.
...for the bugs on the bodywork, try washing with a Dryer Sheet!! Amazing results.
I experienced the same crazy grasshopper carnegie on the front of our Mazda 3 a few weeks ago in west Texas.
