Soooo I'm probably going to tackle some stereo upgrades this weekend, or at least start the search for equipment; but I have a few questions...
1) I'd really like to have bluetooth/iPod connectivity so I'm looking at a new head unit, unless anyone recommends otherwise.. If I do go with a new one tho, what model would u recommend? I used to be in the stereo game years ago but have since just gotten out of it and don't know what's what now.
2) what door speakers (+ center-dash, in-between-seats speakers) should I go with that give a good sound and bass performance?? are these speakers (any of them) hard to change out myself if i just buy the speakers and install? (same with the head unit) ..Or do you recommend I just have them installed and not deal with the hassle?
3) what places do you recommend either in Dallas or online that has good deals on any of the stuff I need for my stereo revamp?
...THANKS!!!

The Clearwater door speakers have been excellent for me. If you want to add speakers between the seats, you'll need to locate a mounting bracket from a Bose-equipped car, as there is nothing in there now to attach anything to.

i am looking to update my current alpine in my na with a bluetooth compatible unit, it seems alpine have a pretty nice variety of units now that fit the bill from tcb on up to uber bling. for speakers i have been very happy with my boston acoustics, they are 7 years old, but the upper grade, i think 962's or thereabouts, their numbering has changed. i picked up a set of their lower grades for an expedition and wasnt too happy with that choice. Also picking up one of black roadsters sub boxes for the floorwell, again mines an NA so not sure if that works. Best car audio place i've been to in town is earmark in addison. talented installers. not the cheapest for hardware, but they have a lot to drool over.
