Should read- "Console lights and dash lights out after new radio installation" This is what I have from the previous owner, "The install went smooth...but now I don't have any instrument lights. My head lights and parking lights work...along with my turn signal and warning lights. But no instrument lights at all. I did install an "install harness"....to make the task easier. I had dash lights only in the "acc" key position... but then I couldn't solve the problem on my own...I went to Best Buy...where I purchased the stereo. Those guys pulled it out and rewired it...then installed it and now I have NO dash lights or console lights at all. I still have all my warning lights..and my park lights and my head lights....but the lights that turn my cluster green...and light up my console and a/c controls....all inop"
Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!

Likely caught the ashtray light wire under one of the big shift boot bolt.
That was my first thought that the illumination wire was either being grounded by a short or by mistake with the harness.Originally Posted by Rogue
