The glory hole could make an appearance, not sure about time though since my life is ultra-busy these days.

I and the track day coordinator met today and as far as a roll bar. If you show yourself to be experienced driver, no roll bar will be allowed on open track time.

Our track staff will be observing all cars during open track times and they hold the right to pull you off the track at anytime.

To keep it simple we are looking for a good time for all.

    Thanks,

However, if you drive 6th St. w/o a bar you do so at your own risk!

Forgot to add. Track Dog Racing is one of our sponsors and was a major factor in adding open track time for the dfwmiata group.

Gary's more about the open track than the open buffet. Thanks to Track Dog Racing!

The only time I've ever been to 6th st or Austin for that matter, I witnessed a gang fight lol

I'm still kind of ticked this guy hasn't gotten back to me about the roll bar yet though.

Just signed up. Might try to talk my wife into going. Would be awesome to get video of her screaming her head off on track. :)

Yes! But, don't take my word for it. I'll be one of the noobs at Hallet on Saturday. You can instruct me and see for yourself!

This is a family affair and your wife should come and meet the many other ladies that are attending. Also you should let her drive a few laps with you as the passenger.

Wow, maybe we will have a ladies only drive for a short period and the guys ride. I will talk with our track coordinator about this.

So bring the wife and have fun

By the way after Sunday the price goes up. So sign up now

The track time schedule may deviate somewhat in the afternoon. All I can say about the lead follow and some groups may be faster. The lead follow drivers know the track and will lead a very fast pace if the group is capable. We string the cars far enough apart to allow faster drivers to catch up and pass. We give instructions on how to pass and what the driver you are passing should do to wave you by. We want a fun and safe event for all

For those that we feel are qualified, we will have open track time on Friday November 1st starting at 2pm and you will be able to run with our sponsors, Harris Hill Members and Roundup Staff. Track Courtesy is a must

On November 1st the Roundup Staff will take you all to the track and after Orientation will give a few lead follow laps to become familiar with track. The November 1st orientation will allow 9am to 10am open track time

Harris Hill Raceway November 2nd Track Event
    9:00am to 9:30am Orientation for 1st Group
9:30am to 10:00am Orientation for 2nd Group (If needed)
9:00am to 10am Open Track Time
    10:00am to 12:00pm Lead Follow.
12:00pm to 1:30pm Lunch and Open Track.
1:30pm to 3:00pm Lead Follow (Quicker Paced for some groups)
3:00pm to 4:00pm Open Track Time
4:00pm to 5:30pm Lead Follow (Quicker Paced for some groups)
5:30pm to 6:00pm Staging for Group Picture.

We will be giving the ladies their time on the track to have fun and the guys must ride with them if it is your wife or girlfriend.

Join us: Tejas Miata, Track Dog Racing, Roger Beasley Mazda, BEGI, Flyin Miata, Dynotronics and Harris Raceway during this fun filled weekend.

What is the cost going to be after September 15th? I've got a trip to Nola this weekend, so I may have to put off my rego until next pay check...
