Texas High School Football!!!!

We have season tickets to the State Champion and currently undefeated Allen Eagles.

My wife isn't feeling well so she told me to invite three people to go to the game with me.

The game is tonight against the Coppell Cowboys at 7:30pm

If interested we will meet at my place just before 7:00pm and walk to the game. (I live across the street from the stadium.)

I know that some may say it is an excessive and horrible way to spend sixty million dollars on a high school football stadium. This is Texas though and high school football is HUGE in Texas. This stadium made national news. The bond and property tax increase to pay for this was voted for by the residents of Allen and could not be used for anything but a new stadium. The bond also included a $30 million dollar performing arts center. So please no comments about the cost or how it should have been used. The bond was specifically for the stadium and performing arts center only and again, voted on and paid for by the residents of Allen. No school funds were diverted to pay for the stadium. The old stadium was not large enough for the school. The marching band and espadrille alone has over 1,000 kids. The new stadium is packed for every home game as well. It has also been used by other schools as well as for college recruiting of players.
