I would say Park Place Bodywerks, but they would probably not be your definition of "cheap". Worth a look anyways. The one in Grapevine is pretty much our main body shop.
My Lexus got hit, I'm suspecting in a parking lot, a few weeks ago and I'm just now getting around to getting it fixed. Any recommendations on a shop that does decent, reasonably-priced work in this area? It's mainly some denting on the bottom of the driver's side rear door. Local shop wants $900![]()

Well, I bought the car at Park Place in Grapevine so maybe they'll give me a discount![]()

Service King does quality work. But again, not cheap.
There are a bunch of body shops in Kellers downtown area.
No insurance claim?

I had work done in Service King years ago and will never go back again! There were runs in the paint and they didn't cleaned up thoroughly before giving the car back. Year before last they wrote me an estimate that was a thousand more than several other shops were quoting me!

I personally apologize for your terrible experience. Sounds like you had a service advisor who wasnt doing his job. With quality like that I can't imagine he would still be with the company. With a lifetime warranty you could always have it corrected. Any manager would jump at the opportunity to correct any issues, if not their regional manager would. I assure you that the cars I send out do not have runs and are clean. I carry a QC bag of detail items when I do my final quality control check on my cars. Mind you I also have a 9.8/10 quality score for the last year and quite a bit of repeat business. I do write higher customer pay estimates because I am so busy with the insurance work. Smaller independent shops are where I would look for pay out of pocket items. I still take mine to Maaco on S Hulen in Fort Worth for my small customer pay jobs.

GregW I know you do outstanding work! I have seen your car. I love to have you to work my cars if I ever needed. I think in any chain, there are always employees that don't really care. Again, I love what you have done to your NA!

Kinda wish I still had it... Sigh

File with your insurance company.............a hit and run in TX has a $200 deductible. You might need to file a police report to make your insurance company happy but it sounds like it would be worth it.
Thanks guys. I'll look into the insurance thing... I thought I was too late on a hit & run claim but I'll check that out.
