Internet providers?

Our AT&T Uverse service has been terrible since we moved. They've been out several times and nothing has changed. What are you all using?

I have totally removed ATT from my life....Cable (Charter) internet, 30mbps for $29.99 mo.

I just signed up for Charter. If it works it will be a good deal. I'm paying a lot more for 12 Mbps at ATT and it doesn't even work... now I need to buy a good wireless router... suggestions?

I am unknowingly following in your exact footsteps. I already bought that same asus on bestbuy's website. Picking it up after work. How has it been for you?

^The Asus was DOA when I got it...ended up with a cheapie Netgear from Target. No complaints for my needs.

If you have FIOS available get it. Otherwise I can't make a recommendation.

Re the router, it's actually a different router than the ASUS one you tried. The interwebs says the one I picked is a good one. Fingers cross that tomorrow I will have increased download speed by 250% and upload speed by 400%.
