Checked this out Saturday for a possible flip...

    http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...stingId=0&mmt=[MAZDA[MIATA[]][]]&modelCode1=MIATA&sortBy=mileageASC&makeCode1=MAZD A&startYear=2001&showcaseOwnerId=74860&maxMileage= 75000&searchRadius=500&listingId=363625403&Log=0

    Cons: - Alternator bearings noisy
    - Tires dry rotted
    - Plenty of rock chips on front fascia and hood
    - Drip off the tranny
    - Hazy headlights

Pros: - No apparent paint fade
    - Clean under the hood
    - 6 speed
    - drives right for 62k miles
    - One owner and clean VIN report

Seller wasn't in much of a dealing mood at the time so I passed.

FYI, the only part of that URL you need is listingID, i.e.

Why you selling so soon? You've barely had it a month.

I miss my 350z, had to let it go due needing some money to last me until I got hired on truely by a fire dept. Now that I'm actually make money again I'd like a 370 or 350 again once i get a nice big down payment ready. Don't get me wrong I love the miata but I like my nissan better. I'm going to buy my little brother a 90's miata next year for his 14th birthday so we can work on it together and use that for some autox until he is 16.

Let me know when you are close to selling. I have a friend who is considering a miata, might be a good option.

Yeah, I think he's got the naming backwards, but it really makes no difference value-wise unless it has a rare/desirable paint color. Its a well-kept example and has the Torsen. I drove it and did some maint work on it. It seems solid to me.

Man you guys are fast, lol.
Sorry, I don't know all the intimate details of the trims. It's fully loaded with the 6 speed, ABS, LSD, leather, and Bose. Whether those are added options or a different trim, please help me out with this. :)

Thanks Mike. I forgot to put in that all the fluids were changed as well, diff, engine, tranny. It is indeed very clean, I just may have the opportunity to buy my old S2000 back for a good price. I may be back once I realize I don't want to daily that S2000, lol. Need a garage with an attached house. :P
