Still, last time I went to Europe, it wasn't the British tube workers on strike, it was the damn French baggage handlers on strike (yet again). forcing us to land in Belgium and take a 4-hour bus ride to Paris - after an 8-hour flight - instead of landing in Paris directly.
Apparently a 35-hour maximum workweek was still too much for them
