New to Roadsters, not so much Mazda, or DFW

Hey y'all. My name's Alden, New to the DFW Miatas forum, fairly long term user of the DfwMazda forum.

I started out with a Mazdaspeed Protege, did my best to care for it. But it ended up being more of a mechanical restoration. (new turbo, transmission, a few wheel studs, bushings, sensors, etc) so I'm about a week or two from selling the car, and taking $3,000 of what I get and purchasing my dad's 1990 NA.

he bought the car in april of 1990, and has kept it in the garage. It has a few small blemishes. But eh, the car's almost a "classic."

I'm usually at Cars and Coffee with the DFWmazda people, and I frequent Grapevine, Colleyville, and Southlake most often.

I already am, it's a blast to drive! I take it down the back roads in Grapevine at least once every 10 days or so.
