You missed your calling....another great repair job!
My 19 year old steering wheel had plenty of ring-finger damage...maybe yours too.
Before: Cleaned and ready for sanding, filling, sanding, dyeing, waiting, top coats.
During: filler applied and sanded with 600, 1000, 2000 grit.
After:
Looks "new-ish" rather than new. New-ish fits better with the age of the car, IMO.
cheers.
You missed your calling....another great repair job!
^Post up what you'd charge....if it's reasonable I'll bet you'll get some right here on the forum!
TBH, I hadn't given a lot of thought regarding a price to charge. But, given the time/labor/materials to do produce a "newish" result, this seem reasonable:
If the wheel has as much damage as mine and requires a fair amount of hand-sanding: $40.
If more damage than mine: $50.
If the damage is relatively light: $30.
All will get full dye to ensure a consistent color with protective coat over the dye and a topcoat for added durability...like mine.
Cheers.
Deal. I have 3 for you.

Rookie mistake. if OZMDD will buy 3 you priced it too cheap!

Hey Bob,
Are you still doing this leather repair? If so, I've got one just needs light repair and a dye job. Let me know...
Thanks,
Mike Kuhn
