Let me for one say I like it that way.
I like being able to post images, and I like that people have a moderate amount of space in order to have a custom avatar.
However, forums that allow huge signature files with .gifs and giant pictures annoy the living shit out of me. There are plenty of places on the web where you can showcase your Photoshop talents - thankfully, this place isn't one of them. I don't want to be assaulted with that crap every time I log on here.
In fact, that's one of the things I like the most about theboard - no siggys, no images, no avatars, no nothing... except content. Less flash, more content. That's what I prefer.
