Best way to remove rear seat humps?

I'll be installing racing seats soon. I've got a set of Sparco seat mounts that I am going to bolt into the floor, which requires me to remove the rear seat humps. Is an angle grinder the best tool for that? I don't have one, but may pick one up... Any tips/advice would be appreciated.
