Prediction - the windshield surround and mirrors will have the same color as the body paint in a few years. Using the same color (black, in this case,) for all cars saves a few bucks on the manufacturing end for now. Later, the matching colors can be used as a differentiator between the ND1 and ND2, if that is when they decide to match the mirrors and windshield surround to the rest of the car.

Yeah, that's the rub of Marketing. You want to create buzz, but yet you can't cannibalize existing sales... and they probably haven't made all the last minute decisions yet.

I want to know if they will have a PRHT at launch. Robin said I should trade in the 2013 Club Edition and get one... so I already have permission.

Somebody even asked, "When will you be able to tell us what you can't tell us now?" The poor guy had to answer, "i'm sorry, but I'm not even allowed to tell you that." I'm sure some of the final spec is yet to be determined, especially option packages and pricing. Dave Coleman acknowledged that one of their biggest challenges with a redesign of the Miata was to keep from screwing it up. They fully realize what a great thing it is and want to improve it, not lose what they've created so far.
