I have a 5 point harness installed smartie...the CG-Lock was for the passenger. Want a lift?

Are you sure you can do that at a DE. A lot of clubs require that instructors have the same safety restraints as the driver. You might want to check on that.

I did and they said there was no written rule for the DE event. If the instructor does not want to get in the car he doesn't have to. They will just assign one that will if I want to wear the harness. When I went to Hallett I slid around like a greased pig on a cold marble slab on those leather seats and I was doing more concentrating staying in the seat than I was driving. I did a foamectomy on my driver's seat and added two hard plastic pieces slid inside the side bolsters that were jig-sawed in the shape of the bolster. It does provide a firmer feel but not having it at higher cornering speeds I don't know if it is going to make much of a difference.

Or you could lock your seatbelt and not slide around at all. It's free!

Again, apologies for the failure. A Miata-specific CG-Lock will be on its way!
