Group buy for CG-Lock's.

After driving an event with the CG-Lock, I have to give it a thumbs up! It will anchor your arse to the seat and IMHO is a very good addition for anyone who doesn't have a harness.
Kestrel ran with it as well, and he seemed to like it. I'll let him speak for himself.
Unfortunately, onething was still having technical difficulties due to the shape of his buckle. Sometime between '99 and '01 the shape changed, and this version of the CG-Lock doesn't seem to 'grab' on to the buckle.

We are still trying to put a group buy together, so chime in and answer the poll if you want one! If we get 10 or more buyers, we will be able to buy them for ~$30 each shipped.

Thanks hahaha...I'm not sure how much extra shipping will be. I'm going to guess around $3-4. As soon as we get all of our buyers in order, I will gather up who they are, get their money and place an order.

I spoke with C-G Bruce, Monday, and he said there's an even newer version that has teeth instead of grooves. I'll be sending him pics from the official POS Digicam tonight to show him the new buckle.

Another plan is to procure a buckle from a wrecked Miata, Dremel, slash, and burn it to see if I can mod the plastic to make the SAmmm Special version work without endangering onething Racing's top driver Anybody want to donate their 01, 02, or 03 buckle? I'll only need to make one small cut in the belt.

I can get a buckle for you from Mazda Heaven if you want. My question is how do you get the replacement buckle on your belt? I didn't think they came apart like that?

The short story is this - 10 CG-Locks will cost us $29.97 each shipped. 4-6 will cost us $32.90 each shipped. For a $3 savings do you/we want to wait to scrape up more buyers, or pull the trigger now?

If you are in, let me know ASAP! (and how many you want) Also let me know what year your Miata is so I can get the correct model from Bruce. I will need to collect all the money before I place the order.
