Small block? I thought this was going to be a V8 vs. ND. She wasn't driving it hard enough.

The old NA held its own...just couldn't keep up in the straights.

1.6 Miata is a small block! Then Mazda jumped up to the 1.8 big block!!!

Wonder which engine they used for this video. The European has two engine choices for the ND.

There's a 1.8 and a 2.0 NC in Europe. I'm pretty sure the ND is 1.8 only but I may be wrong.
As for small block, you knew damn well those two words usually precede V8. My 49cc lawnmower has a small block.

The "published" plan for the ND (at the moment) is 1.5L worldwide and 2.0L US-only. Tax thing.

So, now the folks in Europe get to import US grey-market Miatas. LOL.

Oh, and I thought the gal racer in the NA was pretty cute!

    My 1.6 self-identifies as a small block.

    So, it's a trans-block?
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.
