    Default MME Facebook Group Poll

Seems like there's alot of posts on our FB group For Sale. Do you think we should split the group to a stand alone DFWMiata Buy-Swap-Sell or drop it altogether? I kind of like directing them here to the classified section as it's easier to search and would help support this still valuable forum.

If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

Anyway for our cruel computer overlord to have it where it posts classifieds to both locations.

You neglected the "leave it as-is" option. I see no problem with the fb posts, so long as the rules are enforced. Feel free to make them more stringent.

I agree with the unicorn man. There are different people in both social media sites. Some of us use both, others only use the forum and yet others only use FB. I refer all newbs I run into to both places.

I hate to tell you guys, but the newbs ain't coming here. Making a rule for posting on FB (to also post here) will just decrease the FB posts. Right now, you have something. If you're not careful, you'll end up with nothing.

Why not open up FB for the non-members to view the site like ER does. I might go if I did not have to sign up to see content.

Settings are public. It is open. You have to join to post but not to just browse.

When I go to the ER FB page I see messages from users. Menu items are like a regular website.
This might be something called the Wall? https://www.facebook.com/pages/Equip...ref=ts&sk=wall

If I use the link at the top of the dfwmiata site https://www.facebook.com/login.php?n...%2Fdfwmiata%2F I get the FB login in page.

So to me a non-FB member it is not open.

Goes to login page. Thanks for helping...

The url will most likely resemble the ER link below.
    https://www.facebook.com/pages/Equip...ref=ts&sk=wall

    This did not work
    https://www.facebook.com/pages/dfwmiata/?ref=ts&sk=wall

Need a number for the DFWmiata FB page. Like this 104606659618596
Don't know if that is a session number. It has been active a long time.

The other format is ?v=wall. Just need a number.

I also think the General thinks there is a plethora of NC parts on MME Facebook.

MME Facebook appears to cater to the Hella flush NA crowd with and occasional NB throw in for fun.

Its more for the kids who can't figure out how to log in to this old school forum from their mom's Iphone. Along with McFlipper and Nails.

Back in the olden days wasn't there a "like" feature on the forum so you could share a post from here to FB?
