OUCH! I would not want to be making calls to those owners...

Of the eight cars that fell, six were donated to the museum by Corvette enthusiasts, and two are owned by the car's maker General Motors.
What are the odds of a sinkhole forming under your museum and swallow up several historically significant cars....

In POS' link it says the museum owned 6 of the cars, I wonder which one is correct.

Corvette takes it deep in the hole and swallows.
Bummer on the Vettes. I read the black one was bought by a 16 year old brand new off the showroom. Kept safe for all it's life. Donated to the museum in his will as "they would know how to care for it".
M3 is always the answer.
Back from the grave!

Yea, but now "Swallowed by large sinkhole" is going to appear on the CarFax report.
Great, now all the corvette guys will be driving into sinkholes...

Very cool...wonder how many yards of material it took to fill that up.
