    Default Are TPMS sensors required?

Reading through the SCCA Street class rules, I see that TPMS can be disabled. I don't see where it says it can be removed. Nor even that it is required, even if disabled, on cars that came with them.

I'm looking to buy an extra set of wheels, preferably used, to mount tires on for autox. I need to know if I have to have a compatible TPMS system on them.

TPMS is part of the wheel which is allowed to be changed. So they are not required.

Thank you. And I just found in section 13.4 where it clearly states that tire pressure monitoring sensors may be removed.
