    Talking is anyone going to formula d in June

    I posted in the other motorsports section and forgot to ask who all will be going to support the few the proud the very few miata's that will be drifting at this event. Anyways hope to see you guys there!

    probably a spend the night thing. Friday is qualifying to see if we even make the top 32 that'll compete on Saturday. I can't remember the name of the hotel we're stayin' at I think it's the Marriot off of 610west about 6 miles from Reliant.

    If you guys want, I have some pretty bare Azenis on those black 14" rims that I got from Majik... You're welcome to burn off the rest of 'em... I was going to have the tires taken off before I list the rims on eBay.

    i believe that you have to be nearly invited to run in it, as the cars are caged out and most have sponsorships other than visa/mastercard.

    yes the event is a pre registered event only. unfortunately for us this is the only one we'll get to do this year. sponsors want to see how well we fare againist the barage of 240's and of course we do make the top 32 "god willing" how we do againist those guys.

    Marty went to Jersey and to Atlanta and didn't qualify at either. Sponsored cars have da $$$ to back it up.

    Adam when are you leaving, etc. Looks like I may get to go down Friday and come back Sat. - fingers crossed!!!!

    I'm probably just going to drive down there Saturday morning and head back that night. I can barely afford the gas money let alone try to get a room somewhere. I might not be able to go now due to a ticket I got last night. We'll see, it will probably be last minute for me.

    Well I will be there crewing for MSR. I plan on having as much fun as humanly possible that weekend since it is my birthday that weekend. I hope some of you guys make it.

    YOUR BDAY weekend too? mines on the 13th of june and im planning on going... i just gotta get the car ready first... i thought the dangole tbelt kit was less than 92 bucks!
