I hate that I'm going to miss this one...I'll be in Florida spending my last Fathers Day with my Dad.

I'd be disappointed if you didn't go to Florida... I never had the opportunity with my father.

And POS, what does Fathers Day have to do with fewer S2000 drivers showing up? As far as I know it's Fathers Day for all of us, not just S2000 owners. Or perhaps you are suggesting that the 19 Miata Pilots either aren't fathers, or don't have fathers (therefore we can be out there) ...

As an example:

Heck I'm seriously considering sitting out the SCCA event the next day, so I can spend Quality time with my family, although they are offering cash for me to reconsider!

Still planned. The current problem is finding a weekend day that the lot is not being used by another club, swap meet, etc. I'll let you guys know once we get a date nailed down.

Gregg Lee had the street sweeper out there for the PCA event last week and swept the course with it. The surface was great, imho. I never had gravel problems at all.

And only 12 S2000s? What's happening to all the S2000 autocrossers? I mean, we've had 15 to 20 Miatas a nearly every S2000 event in the past 2 years, but there have typically been an equal (or nearly equal) number of S2000s. Looks like Clovis and gang need to start beating the bushes a bit more...

Come on guys...help me out here and keep this quite. The only chance I have of making top ten in S2000 street is if we only have 12!!! Oh wait...some of those will be in R compound - I might be safe!!! :)

Man everyone is running this event.....it sucks I can't make it out on Saturday. The boss says no!
I have really been wanting to run a S2K event. Maybe next month. I am running the SCCA Sunday event...looks like I am the only Miata in TCS. I might actually trophy.

It's not the McDonalds in Mineral Wells that they're talking about. It's the one on I-20W, just past the point where I-20 & I-30 merge. Exit 418, I think? South side of the freeway, a few miles east of 190.
