Brought your OPT. You were a . Sold your OPT to some wandering goat herders. Thanks for staying home so Majik and I could have all the points, though...
    TC-
Sorry for the no-show- I think its a first. No excuse here will be sufficient. Thanks for the OPT. Maybe it will make an appearance at the roll bar install-if you can get it back from the goat herders. I know I will be there for the install.
Congrats on the win over Majik.

Actually, unless he has changed stuff from the last time I saw that car, he was running ASP at the bus lot. Still doesnt change the fact that it was a SUPER fast car.

Also, good job TC, beating me by .069, who said there isnt competition at an S2K event.

Looks like SAMM's Red is faster than Vivid Yellow.

All you street tire drivers were moving fast. It was interesting seeing how the gearing was different for the 14" - 15" - 16" rim sizes. 14" rims drivers hit the rev limiter real early and the 16' rim guys just bumped the limiter. This Fun course seem to demonstrate how the gearing can change based on rim sizes and tire profile.

    I was running 15" R-tires and went to 3rd gear 3 times.

ahhh shucks. It was interesting to watch while working from corner 4. We could tell who was bouncing the rev limited hard in 2nd and who shifted to 3rd before that last left to the finish lights.

...and you could watch me sliding off the course sdeways, cones flying

I learnt quite a lot about driving through the sliding last Sat - found that there was quite a bit more traction available through the judicious application of more throttle - and where that traction ran most decidedly out, and uncontrollable sliding began! Reckon with more skill, even with the rubbish tires I have, could have knocked off another 5 seconds.
The course was the most fun I've driven to date (out of all four...) and an absolute blast. Looking forwards to the next one!

I am still laughing about that idea. That was Funny.
Since she reads everything you post I don't think that idea will fly. She has been generous letting you drive the car. I just wish she could see how well you drive it.

I have offered it as a replacement for POS but I don't think I have to much to worry about considering it is a 6 speed.!!

I had a great time although I'd like to see the S2K club use more of the pavement out there. The runs seemed a bit short, the LSCBMW course setups usually have about a 107-110 FTD (1.5 miles approximately) which the FD RX7 usually claims if he shows up. The whole north side of the course near the brush was all empty which was a bit disappointing.

I thought my landboat (compared to you little roadsters) would have done a lot worse on the course. Especially squeezing through that slalom
