99 VS 00 and 01

Im still in the market for a miata, and im looking at a base model 99 for 8k with 90k miles.. I also found a 00 LS with 61k miles for 12k and an 01 LS with 65k miles for 12k what are the difference between the years.. also these prices are MSRP..

Here is some data.

The 2001 will have the VVT motor which requires premium fuel, we have an '02 VVT and knocks on the cheaper grades.

The '01 and newer will produce lees boost than the '99-00 cars and have a more restrictive intake manifold. '99-00 is the best year for modify. Also, if you get the larger brakes on the '01, you are limited on brake pads and they are more expensive.
