Does anyone have the part number for the drivers side radiator fan for a 99. Also, does anyone have an idea if this fan is interchangeable with NAs? If so I can pick one up at Mazda heaven, otherwise I have to order one. Thanks!

It already had the plug on it? That is what broke with mine, the plastic for the plug. I tried some 2 part epoxy, but I looked today, and I still have to F with the plug to get the fan to come on. Plus I dont want to buy from the same places you do, bad luck...Originally Posted by Kags1969

Why not just put an aftermarket plug set-up on it... strip the ends, crimp (solder preferred) and viola!
Because the plastic plug that connects to the fan is supposed to be attatched to the fan. The pass. side is like 3bean described, wires. The drivers side plugs on the motor. Id rather not short things out, and keep the plug on the car side, so if I replace the fan, it will be plug and play.
