Im not a ricer..
Doesn't the Civic you have now fulfill that?Originally Posted by Tool

I know there's a 400+ turbo civic prowling around Dallas somewhere. It goes fast in a straight line.
Who said you were a ricer?Originally Posted by Tool
The Miata is also a Japanese car... so the accusation would be the same from anyone else outside the Miata/Honda world.
And how is modding a Civic to 400+ hp ricer? If tastefully done it's the same, in essence, as a Miata with high hp.
I just dont see the point in turning a 4 door auto matic front wheel drive car into a 400hp race car..
I want to atleast have something sporty, rear wheel drive is nice and 5 speed..
That's the first rational answer I've seen from you.Originally Posted by Tool
So have you sold the Honda yet?
Im going to talk it over with my wife tonight, looks like we are going down to carmax for a quick sell..
So why not go with the Mustangs you love so much?Originally Posted by Tool

And it quenches your thirst for going fast in a straight line.
because I want something I can drive for a while that is good on gas..
So get the V6 Mustang... still more HP than a stock Miata.Originally Posted by Tool
Or he can get a Miata, moan about how slow it is, and stick a bunch of stuff on it that makes it go fast(er) in a straight line. Come one fellas... it's his money, let him do what he wants with it. We all know he's not fully grasping what a Miata is really for, but he's got this idea in his head and nobody is going to change his mind. Didn't ya'll learn that from his last thread?Originally Posted by Treibenschnell

I would rather keep my honda Civic then get a V6 Mustang..
I know a Miata is a great track car, but getting on the tollway doesnt require a lot of handling..
The miata is a fun car right..
You'd be suprised!Originally Posted by Tool

Mazda and Honda with the S2000\NSX and RX8 rev too high..
Even the new Turbo Miata has more balls then the S2000 and still has less power and is slower..
Yeah... I am confused too....Originally Posted by ccage
