Good News: Honda Confirms New NSX In The Works

I want a Miata so I can drive to work and not spend all my money on gas..
But I guess when I start to mod that will change oh well..

Basicly im looking for a fun car thats cheap and easy to work on..

Doesn't the Civic you have now fulfill that?

Cheap on gas... easy to work on... plenty of aftermarket stuff to make them fast...

And how is modding a Civic to 400+ hp ricer? If tastefully done it's the same, in essence, as a Miata with high hp.

I would rather keep my honda Civic then get a V6 Mustang..
I know a Miata is a great track car, but getting on the tollway doesnt require a lot of handling..

"[Honda President Takeo] Fukui said Honda is also developing a new V10 engine to power a fresh super sports car model to replace the NSX, which is due to be retired at the end of this year. He said he hoped to unveil the new sports car in three or four years."

Honda's answer to more HP is normally to make an engine Rev higher.. In a race car thats a good idea, but a street driven sports car.. HP under the torque curve is more important..

Ford, Chevy, Subaru, Mitsu, Nissan, Dodge and BMW have it figured out..
Mazda and Honda with the S2000\NSX and RX8 rev too high..

Even the new Turbo Miata has more balls then the S2000 and still has less power and is slower..
