Yeah... altiain and I have had numerous battles decided by thousands of a second!

Sorry you're getting so beat up about this one hooahh, but we don't really go for the street racing scene here. I don't think we have any saints on this board, but most of us know that it's just plain 'ol dumb to drive 133 miles per hour on any street in the Metromess (I can't say if 133 mph is OK out in the deserts of New Mexico or Arizona or wherever).

Bring your pent up "need for speed" out to an autocross or to an MSR Lapping Day, where you can get your adrenaline fix in a place where you won't be a major danger to anyone else. You'd be surprised how much fun you can have bouncing off the rev-limiter... in second gear on a tight course defined by some silly orange traffic cones.

"Most" of us on here keep it on the track. Recently I have noticed some new members braging about racing on the streets..If you want to brag lets see some REAL numbers laid down in a controlled environment . Learn how to drive on a track and or autocross course and then brag about who you beat on here.
I'll second that. If you think you're a badass, there are two opportunities for you to back up the smack talk this weekend - check the Autocross Calendar section of this site, come out and join us, and learn how to really drive in a controlled environment... or continue to be a punkass street racing poser. The choice is yours.

OUCH!!!! Damn that hurt!!!! I will let ya'll know that was the only time I have ever done that. Also the environment was basically to lanes with 2 cars no streets intersected that section of road we were racing on, there were no cars around. As far as the autocross thing goes, I would LOVE to do that. I am a racing nut. I'm big into NASCAR (Go Jimmy!) and I just love speed. I would never race in an environment that I didn't think was a safe place to do it. Would I do it again? Probably not, but I don't regret it. No harm was done. I work 50 -60 hrs a week, sometimes 11 days in a row. I don't always have alot of time to spend a whole day to do an autocross. I wish I did but I don't. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone!

I believe the operative word here is innocent. Corner workers seem to be fair game.
