Last time I went to the Kennedale track, I nearly froze my toes off. Somehow I don't think that'll be an issue right now, though.

Looking forward to a little track time!

I don't mean to jack your post but I go out to the sanger track alot and the best time for us to go would be on a Friday night when they do their test-n-tune night. It's kind of like a run what you want. If my memory serves me right you don't really have to have any safety equip. until you go 8.40s in the 1/8th mile. Then you have to hav a helmet. It's $10 to watch and park with thegroup or $15 to run as many times as you want until they close.

I might be interested, but I'd probably won't bring the miata.

Im trying to set up a day where we all eat at Babe's in Sanger, and then go down to the strip. Is that test-n-tune every friday? If so it would be easier to find an open friday.

How can we eat dinner and then go to the Drag Strip? Some of us are not very close to Sanger. What time does the Drag Strip close? I'm very interested but the traffic from Arling ton to Sanger on Friday evenings is a B...h...

Pick a Friday, pick a time, post it. Not having an event at all due to indecision is much worse than the time/date/location not working for some. I have been interested in several gatherings that didn't work with my schedule, but that life.

You don't have to ask them or anything we just need to show up. And they don't close until at least midnight, but they stay open sometimes until 3:00 a.m. if there are enough cars to do that.
