Thread: Battlefield 2

    Default Battlefield 2

As you all know by now, I just bought a new PC. Dual core Pentium, GeForce 6800, blah blah blah. It's a pretty good, middle-upper end rig, and I'd like something to show it off.

I have read nothing but good review of Battlefield 2 recently, and was thinking about picking it up to play on the new machine.

Do any of you play it? Is the learning curve reasonable (meaning, is there "breathing room" for newbie to learn the game)? Thoughts/opinions much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    S.

Never played that particular game...but I did just hack my way through Half Life 2 & I can say it is increadible even on the meduim settings...im sure its that much better with the visuals cranked up all the way. It would be a perfect game to show off your system in my oppinion. Also, my old roommate had Doom3, & its about the same as far as visuals go.

I can only seem to get into racing games. Working on Grand Prix Legends now.
