Besides, your battery wasn't relocated to the trunk... it comes there stock. It shouldn't be a problem.
But there is an OR there.Originally Posted by Treibenschnell

I have been to Denton once with the Miata. No issues with the battery. Bad driver maybe, but nothing with the battery. Sorry I can make it, I have to work.
I had a great time!
Although I think my clutch just about had enough...
Come on Bean... We need more information than that!!!!
What were the times?
Where are the pictures?
And where is my "Catfish"?

By the way, I've read the rules four times now and have yet to find the passage about open top cars and helmets.
Here is a close one, left lane #79 is ccage, and I'm right lane#70 (the slow-cus). Lots of fun, mabye next time I'll have enough $ to eat as well. and I can't believe I didnt bring my camrera!

Thanks for stopping by the house on the way out. Even the mighty bean couldn't get the hose all the way up the barb, but he got it about centimeter more than me and I appreciate it. The car is back together and making a visit to Trackdogracing in the morning.

That was a mighty tight fitting too... a royal pain in the neck! But I'm glad the damned thing is on now.Originally Posted by Sharpie

Man I am jealous, I really wanted to go but sadly I couldn't........
I see mention of ccage and TC! So who all went??
And why no pictures.......
Lets see... TC and Ccage joined Bean and I for the caravan. We stopped off at Sharpie's to say hi and then went on to the drag strip where we met blackzx3_13 and driftdevil. We all agreed that it was a great time and was definitely worth doing again.Originally Posted by POS Racing
I had my camera but it never left my trunk... I don't think I saw TC with his either.
As Bean alluded to, the only rule that we missed (and so did the web designer) was the need for a helmet if you run with the top down. Most of us just put our tops up, but this was not in the cards for Bean. He ended up using a loaner from a regular.
