HOLY CRAP! This is just crazy. I beat my competitor by 0.009 seconds in the regular runs. And then in the PAX by the same time. And I got beat by HS again, argh, these courses have been sucking lately.

It turned out to be a good event, for Pennington. The course was short, but fast, and although it wasn't too technical overall, it had a couple of challenging elements that kept people guessing (well, me at least) for the entire event.
I finally got that hairpin down on my last run. One of those "go slow to go fast" elements. Unfortunately, the straight that it led onto really took the Miatas out of contention in the overall Pax - Sipe's RX-8 was the lowest power-to-weight car in the money, and even it is capable of 0-60 runs over two seconds faster than a C Stock Miata.

I can understand the schedule conflict. OTOH, if your phone had been near your pillow, we would have helped you get up
