Really! We did this same run with the S2K group. Yeah there were only a couple Miatas, and Bean and I clearly brought up the back in the horsepower/weight arena with the two of us in a 1.6 NA, but hey -- the BBQ is great.

Which roads are you taking from Plano to Tioga? In other words, where should the "west of the lake guys" catch up with the group?
If you are coming out on 380 then we'll wait at the new Sonic near the 377 turn-off.

You've got mail.... We won't be on 380 at all in the morning. You might just plan on meeting us at Clark's around 12:00-12:15, or caravaning up from Sonic.

Meet you guys at the Honduh stealership. I'll be there at 11:15am with a full tank of gas. :afro:

Just another reminder the plan is to meet up at the Barnes & Noble at 15th and 75 in Plano at 10:30 for 11:00 departure.

Us McKinney folk (Dave and me, maybe Titus?) think it's pointless (did I just use that word?) to back track to Plain-O and then drive right through McKinney.

I know you have to pass through here at some point. Hell, I'll meet ya at Custer and 380 if you want. That is the way you go isn't it? I'll call TC in the morning and work it out with him. He can call Dave since I don't have Dave's celly. Don't care where we meet but driving 20 minutes south and then 20 minutes north seems dumb.

Holy cow, tailchaser. That's quite a circuit. I'm going to join the group at Aubrey around 11:45 - 12:00; maybe I'll drive the earlier section at the end. Over 150 miles in total, I can hardly wait!

Since ATSAaron and ATSChristin are probably within 10 minutes of my house (1 mi E of ATS), I'll try to work out something with them.

Was just a reminder to those of us coming from places other that McKinney or Plano!

Indeed. Great, fun day. It was nice you put even more faces (and names) with board personalities!

Nice pace, btw. Fun driving, but nowhere near as 10/10ths for my NA as the S2K run.

    Thanks again.

If that S2K run was 10/10ths, you really need to consider a visit to autocross. When Clovis or I lead runs, especially on roads that we know all too well, you'll find that corner speeds are generally less than 5/10ths of what the car can do on the surface found on that turn. That leaves room to react to squirrels, opposing traffic, etc. Obviously, speeds at the end of the line will be higher at times. Search the board for "the pace" and work on carving corners while staying between the white & yellow lines wherever you drive. It helps kill boredom and can make a Sunday drive more entertaining at whatever speed. There's not much I can do about nasty smelling garbage trucks, though...

That was the garbage truck? I thought the beans at lunch were kicking in on the lead cars!

It was a great run and it went off safely!

    Great job guys!

I was just the front man on this event! Tailchaser's excellent Tioga route was what made for such a great day!

We had a great turnout, we had 15 cars participate today! :afro:

Had a good time - Thanks TCRacing for putting it on.

Thought I'd post my pics now.

I titled the first one "Starbucks?!? I thought we were going for BBQ."

Second is "Where'd I park my car?"

Third is "I remeber him getting out of it."

Fourth is "I'm telling you, it was right here."

Fifth is "Those Bozos couldn't find their butts with both hands."
