Default How they Rice a car in Japan

This was a meet at Daikoku in Yokohama a couple of days after January 1st. I sure hope the exhaust tips don't catch on in the USA. And count the Wings on that van.

I sense the next trend to cross the ocean: external oil coolers haphazardly mounted on the front bumper with plumbing just dangling.

Whoever said that JDM = clean? Most of those vehicles make American riceboys look downright tasteful.

Can't wait until we see Scion offering those ridiculous wings as dealer-installed options on the xB. Any bets on how long before tuneRmaRty buys one? :P

Wow most of that was old school!

So do you think the 8' exhaust extension create any backpressure?

How about some spark plugs in the pipes and a little extra fuel. Blue flames. Now that would be something cool with 6 foot pipes. I liked the duel v-pipe on the mazda. Think Peter's rx'7 would be the pride of the apartment complex at Pennington. (in jess)

    I had a '95 Miata R

You have more exhaust decibels than your engine has horsepower.
    Peter's Rx-7?

Yea some of that checklist is kinda more poking fun at imports and modified sports cars than actual ricers. A domestic guy definately wrote it.
