Listen... this is just my opinion, but you may be a bit impatient when it comes to putting in this rollbar... it's not difficult, but it takes a good amount of time and patience.
I put mine in by myself and ended up with many scrapes, bruises, and a vocabulary of new four letter words.
By the way, here are the install directions directly from Bethania.

What he said. My Miata was up on jack stands for a week. Now, I did it all by myself, and could only work nights, but still... It's not easy.Originally Posted by Treibenschnell
I also installed one on my 2000, and it took a full day working with someone who had recently done an install of his own.

Okay, I have relented and will wait unless Black Roadster chimes in. I do not have the experience or patience to try this myself.

You may have trouble rounding up that crew of professionals any time soon, Tim - we've got at least one autocross every weekend from now through early November (ER 10/9, SCCA 10/16, SCCA again 10/23, ER double-header 10/29 & 10/30, S2k 11/7, and the final SCCA 11/20).
That being said, I would defnitely suggest waiting for professional help - I installed my own bar, and I've helped install a couple of others, but it is neither an easy nor a quick job. More importantly, it involves cutting and drilling the unibody - you can't replace that if you goof it up.
Patience, grasshopper. I'd be more than willing to offer my assistance, but I fear my autocross schedule (and the fact that I'll need to spend a lot of time with my wife because of the autocross schedule over the next six weeks) may get in the way.

Free beer, pizza and nekkid women to serve it. How many have a free day now?![]()
(I do not mind a weeknight if that is available any sooner)

You do realize this is going to take 4-6 hours to install if you have experienced help.Originally Posted by Tim the Teacher

Yeah I kind of figured that so I got the nekkid women for a daily rate.
I have a VTX1300 just waiting for cooler weather in case the car gets laid up for a few days.

Rollbar being delivered today. Anybody free for an install sometime this week or weekend?
