    Default Day Laborers

Anybody around here ever hire day laborers? There are a bunch that hang around the RaceTrac near my house and I need some manual labor Monday and Tuesday. I used to do this all the time in Athens, and it always worked out. Anybody had any experience in the Metromess?

Anybody looking for a couple of day's work? I'm putting Hardyboard siding on the shop, and I think it will work much better with an extra set of hands. (4x8 sheets are pretty hard to hold and nail at the same time.)

If I was free I'd help you... I can always use the experience of doing siding.

By the way, as to the day labor... in my experience around here it's been more hit than miss. Just watch for the shifty eyed bastards!

When are you doing this? I should be able to stop by after work next week.

I have a ladder. Just bring your body guard and her hammer.

    On to new business . . .

Today is the only day of vacation I have left. I got a couple of serious offers for after work and a couple of other last minute offers. (I didn't see them until after 9:00 last night.)

If you want to work today and can be in Arlington, before noon, call me for directions @ 972-816-5296.

This is probably the last time I will be online today...Don't post here or PM me if you want to work.
