I can't say I blame you... after driving the regular 6 I'm looking forward to the MSM6.

I'm thinking I may go with a regular loaded out 6, I like it better than the Accord & Passat. I wanted to see the Mazdaspeed6 to see if it was worth the extra bling.

About $3K more equipped the way I want, but this will be a company car so I'm thinking I'd rather have the standard 6 with an automatic. (yea I know )

My leasing guy is also anti Mazda since they don't command the residuals of some of the other players in the market. We will see how it plays out.....

The only thing I didn't like about the 6 was the size. It's significantly smaller than the B5 Passat I have... and now with the B6 Passat being out and much larger than mine the only thing that I like about the MSM is that great HP rating!

Don't hold your breath on the Speed6. Remember the one I ordered a year ago????? I do hope they've made some changes. I was disappointed with all the fake holes in the car, just like the 06 Miata. At least half the visible grill and lower ducts are blocked. Besides, with gas like it is, I'm glad not to require premium fuel in my regular old 6.

The Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan are getting great reviews. Since they share a platform with the 6, why not check them out? The interiors are nicer, and the platform slightly more up-to-date.

    Fusion

    6

I think the Milan is especially attractive:

Looked at the Fusion this weekend, no NAV available. NAV is on my must have list! Drove around the Lincoln dealer and didn't see any Milans.....

Slightly being the operative word. What's the big deal about nav?

His dad got it in the Pilot and he is hooked. I don't blame him... I can't imagine not having it now that we do, but we got an aftermarket unit that can move from car to car.

I like not getting lost and not being late to appointments! The Pilot as well as several Neverlost Hertz rental cars over the past few years helped prove to me power of navigation. I actually still call on customers so it would be nice if the car knew where they all where since I tend to forget!

I think the MS6 would be a cool car, but I don't know about a company or commuter car - might be a little high strung for that. As for autos, I like having an auto in my daily driver (never thought I'd say that), but it spends a lot of time pounding the superslab or sitting in gridlock.

Have you looked at the G35 or the new IS250?

Yet your leasing guy didn't have an issue with the Expedition? I thought large domestic SUVs had one of the worst depreciation curves of any vehicles on the market...
