I'm surprised that exhaust leak hasn't gotten you failed... I got failed for that the first time I brought the spec in for inspection.
You should get it fixed and go for a retest. It's probably a big portion of you failing.

How do they recognize the leak? Both the leak I had, as well as Beans were not noticed by us until we put a can of Seafoam through it.Originally Posted by channelmaniac
I'm not sure either... but when can I expect you by?
They can tell by the noise...

Um guys, if you haven't noticed the O2 sensor is mounted past the collector where you claim you have an exhaust leak. Therefore the O2 sensor is not getting the correct reading and is probably changing the tuning to compensate.Originally Posted by channelmaniac
ps. I had a leak at the header flange, which is before the O2 sensor and it ran noticibly better after getting the leak fixed.
