Yeah.. we went to Addision last night and hung out at Dukes and had the pleasure of coming home and finding that the 7 looked like this!

They apparantly Had the tool to remove the locks because they weren't scratched up at all... They obviously used a scisor jack and bent the hell outta th sheet metal under my door.

Roomate come home about 11, we got in about 2:30. Roomate said he saw a red Avalanche with an exhaust cruise by the house about 4 times, so we suspect that's who it was. God D@mn....

If anyone comes across of set of 16" Velox VX-8rs for sale.. Lemme beat their arse. I think there's only a few hundred sets of them out there..

Damn that sux Eric! I hope you find your wheels and the bastards that stole them! Do you have full-coverage on the 7?

actually I do.... the motor blew a week or so before teh MSM arrived, so when it got here I pulled the liability and stuff and just had it covered for comprehensive in case it got hit/stolen/vandalized in the mean time.

Oddly enough, a set of the exact same wheel popped up on ebay last night about 11:30 in Dallas.

    How odd....

Is there any way to identify yours from another set? Serial numbers or anything like that? That is more than a coincidence! Are these your tires too? 205/45/16 YOKOHAMA PARADA SPEC2 Tires

unfortunately they don't serialize wheels usually. Tires they do, but no one ever keeps records of them.

Only really way I'll be able to identify them is is the tires, and maybe the scratches...

I pray that just once in my life I'll have the good fortune of catching a thief in the act.

The ebay auction lists one wheel as curbed - was one of yours curbed and are they the same tires? If so, I'd ask him if he bought them new by email - if he says yes, arrange to come out and look at them in person, and bring the police (and the email where he calimed they were new). If you can identify them (and produce a receipt) and he can't produce one I'd have his monkey ass arrested.

Unfortunately, this will probably only work if he claims they were new (should have receipt to prove it). If he claims otherwise, I'd just beat his ass with a lead pipe for the heck of it.

    Damn theives.

wheels are the same... Mien didn't have any curb rash (I'm way too anal for that) and no, the tires aren't the same either (I had ES100s not pradas, same size)

Still fishy enough to check out, but I somewhat doubt they're mine..

UPDATE - This is strange... the listing went away. It says the seller pulled the ad due to an error in the listing. Perhaps someone here contacted him and mentioned they may be stolen?

    I wonder what happened?

From my visual inspection there is only one rim that is curbed. THe other are like new with waterspots after washing, no scratches what so ever. Tire and brand new with only less than 2000 miles.

Now some may not trust me. But dig this. i dont BS

This is how I pack my previous sold rim
    http://members.aol.com/pistolpeetur/rim4.jpg
I wrap it wit plastic wrap. in sturdy box. and put boxes on top of the face so no scartches are allowed.

Any question ask. I think i explained evyerthing really good. GOO DAY!

I was just driving home and saw a late BMW 330 up on the exact same blocks! It was near Royal and Midway. Looked exactly like your car? Coincidence?
