Anything going on after 8pm? (12/9/05)

I am off of work at 8pm tonight and I really don't feel like burning 2 hours at home... Anyone want to meet in the Plano/Allen/Frisco area?

I have work at 3pm, so post up if there are any ideas or interest in a meet.

I'm in the Mesquite area atm, my friend closes his shop at 8pm. We were going to head to downtown Dallas probably for some food and maybe swing by a friends place or whatever.

Girlfriend reminded me today was the 2 year anniversary, so we went to a homestyled Vietnamese/Chinese coastal cuisine restaurant.

Tomorrow looks open and same goes for Sunday, if anything is going on.

It went well... 1 shot, 1 kill, and Bambi is at Syracuse... Backstraps & tenderloins will be made into jerky by mom. 3/4 of what's left will be smoked German sausages and the remaining 1/4 will be split between salami and summer sausage.

You may recognize Syracuse... They make lots of specialty sausages/brauts and many local stores sell them. They have another site that only processes wild game. They kick major

with their processing.

True, but when you work, eat, study, and sleep for 75% of life... things just slip you left and right. It wasn't reminding per se, more like "I want late night Chinese and it is the 2 year anniversary today."

The fried calamari and scallops were too good...

channelmaniac: Backstrap is awesome. I remember having a piece of deer "steak", now that was beyond comparison to even a good cut of beef. Hope your sausages turn out great!

This will be the third time I got the German Smoked Sausages from them. They rock!

We need to have a tech day/cookout/drink tasting some time. I'll supply the venison brauts and smoked sausages... and a bottle of Maker's...

Of course, the drinking should be done AFTER the tech stuff is done... and cabs could be called or designated drivers used if anyone has too much.

Agreed... A tech/cook-out/drink-testing day should be planned. The venison brauts sound like they'd be tasty!

Agreed on the drinking, cabs/designated drivers should be planned. Your quote is a good one. :) If they made alcohol tailored to Miata/MX-5 drivers, that would probably be the tag line after the "Drink in moderation" phrase.
