First Saturday for dummies

Okay, I think I'm ready to hit the streets in search of old-but-still-useful hardware. I've never been to a First Saturday, so I'm looking for tips on must-see/do, what/who to avoid, good/bad regular tables, haggling, bartering, whatnot.

The next is nearly a month away, so I figure that should give me enough time to sort through the OT/drift/etc posts if this thread gets long enough.

No First Saturday and Third Saturday are also known as the Dallas Sidewalk Sale and are near the West End in downtown Dallas.

You are thinking of First Monday a.k.a. Trade Days and that is located in Canton.

The Dallas one is computers & electronics. The one in Canton is antiques, brick-a-brack, and crafts.
