I've seen a car exactly like that. If I'm not mistaken they are high end Mercedes tuners (for that time period). I forgot the name of the company that does it but they're actually pretty sweet... custom everything. Some uppercrust German company... I could be wrong but I saw the same thing in a book somewhere.
EDIT: Could be a different kit but I think I'm right

I can't imagine any uppercrust German company putting glue-on tupperware bits on a 190... I prefer mine in the somewhat more subtle style shown here...I've seen a car exactly like that. AMG? I dont think that this was one. It did not have flairs on the front or air dam, ect. AMG did make a nice looking kit though.

I saw an older silver Mercedes AMG on the George Bush toll road a while back and it had fender flares front and rear. It was so unusual looking I just had to get a closer look and thats when I saw the AMG insignia. It also had pretty loud exhaust note.
