Talking Gemballa Porsche GTR650 Avalanche -or- My next new car...

The Porsche tuning specialists at Gemballa today introduced the GTR 650 Avalanche based on the Porsche 997 Carrera. This “ultimate German sports car” will be available to a selected clientele starting next year. The Avalanche’s motor boasts a breathtaking 650 hp and 820 Nm torque (at 4800 RPM). The car has a top speed of 210mph (335km/h) and can hit 125mph (200km/h) in just 11.2 seconds. Titanium piston rods, an intake system specially developed by Gemballa, three intercoolers and a special turbo configuration ensure longevity and reliability. For safety reasons, from 650 hp the GTR 650 Avalanche is only available as a two-seater. Massive eight-piston brake calipers and accordingly sized 380 millimeter diameter perforated disk brakes make sure the Avalanche can also slow to a safe stop. The GTR 650 Avalanche sits on 19″ wheels with tires sizes of 235 (front) and 315 (rear). The new 20″ racing wheels are also optionally available, with tire sizes of 245 (front) and 325 (rear). An optional roll-bar is also offered. Most interior and exterior add-on components such are made of carbon fiber. Fenders and sidewalls are all metal.
Sell the house! Hmm... I wonder if I can sleep in it... 'cause that be the only way I could have one.

I know, I know... to us it seems an awful choice of name, but the Avalanche name goes back a while with Gemballa (at least a long time before that moniker went on those crappy GM trucks...)

Bleh... all those Porsche models look too identical... Reminds me of the Brady Bunch movie when Mike Brady kept trying to sell the same house style for everything.

But you're forgetting, it's beauty is more than just skin deep.
