Really tempting now, any comments? They also have a 30 day, 500 mile warrentee.

I suggest using some sort of escrow service if you do go that route. Did you get a carfax on that car yet? Have you seen enough pictures that you're totally happy with it?
You might post up on Miata.net to see if a local out there would mind checking it out for you. Just a thought.
Working on a carfax, was about to post on miata.net. The seller emailed me several (9) photos of the car from almost every angle, and I am very happy.

My thing is....I would "never" buy a car i could not drive first!

I agree with River I would want to drive it first also.
If it's a dealer selling it they should be able to get the carfax for you.
Keep in mind a Carfax isn't perfect! A car can still be wrecked and have a clean Carfax record.

100% true! My civic was wrecked and it has a good clean carfax report.
OTOH, My dad has bought 5 miatas without seeing or driving them, but they were all 90-93'. You just have to ask all the right questions, see closer pictures, and get a good feel for the seller.
