Buying from an individual who talks like they know the car, can tell you what's been done, etc. Dad didn't buy from a dealer.

I would say that's a pretty good price. I have seen a lot of 99s going for 2 and 3 grand more and not as clean looking as that one. I bought mine in March for $8,500 with a hardtop and 70k miles. I knew 9k was my limit and I kept it that way.

Well my friend checked it out, even drove it. That car is nice. I was on the phone with him, talking him around the car, and everything is in order. Too bad there is a dang holiday coming up, or I could get a loan faster. Stupid Chirstmas (Kidding)

My parents said if they were going to help me, I would have to sell my focus first. I have to have a co-signer on any loan, due to the student loans I have, and I don't feel comfortable asking any body else to cosign for me. So for now my only option is selling the focus and then looking for another one. Mabye someone closer will have one for sale
