I re-upped with the SCCA and have a current membership card, got signed up for the event (and have confirmation e-mail to prove it). I bought a 2006 rule book at Sundays event. Saw the note about the Gas Can and have a spot on the trailer for it.

What else do I need to have??
Bring cold weather gear. It will be buttass cold in the am. Most of the area is dry, so bringing beverages is a must. Bring spare magnet material as well. You never know if and when you'll need it.

Yep, leaving Texas early Thursday AM with Wayne's Civic in tow. We did the dial-in program Sunday and the car rocked by day's end. Beat Andy's STS 2 car by half second or so on the challenge course. Hope our luck continues this weekend. I will be headed back to KY Sunday evening while Wayne hitches the Civic to his new truck and heads back to Texas...

I think Jon and I will be bringing everything but the kitchen sink...

All the tools out of the trailer, camp chairs, spare wheels and tires, cold weather gear, rain gear, Camelbaks, a cooler so big it needs wheels (stocked with Shiner ), spare magnet material, car wash stuff (figure no sense in washing it here and driving through 350 miles of bugs), lots of aspirin, gas can, compressor, and some other crap. The CR-V will probably look like a low-rider.

You decide when you're leaving yet, Sparky? I'm leaving work at noon Thursday, and we'll be leaving from my house in NRH some time around 3-4pm on Thursday afternoon.

Don't know about you guys but I have found the best way to go when leaving the TMS area of the metroplex, is to go to Denton and pick up 380 to Greenville... 183, I 35, and I 30 will be a zoo by that time in the afternoon...

I'm not going in to the office on Thursday, figure I'll make a run to Ark around 10am.

Thanks for the tip, Oz. I was just trying to find an alternate way that didn't involve Dallas rush hour traffic.

Altiain, lugnutjon, POS racing and I have all arrived safely. Altiain, POS racing and I did the Cone Clinic. Money well spent, except for tire wear.

The other three will work first heat and run second. I will run first heat, first class, first car. I will have FTD at least until the second car finishes. The course looks like the Fort Myers course.

TCB is staying down the road a couple of blocks, in a motel that does not have internet for the guest. I have been elected reporter. I have some photos I will try to post, after I get them out of the camera.

I will pass on the wishes.

All my other shots are too big and I do not have my Photo Shop on the computer. Tomorrow I will take more photos this size.
